hello everybody.
sorry to bother you but i have searched and couldn`t find an answer. i'm trying to retrofit a parktronic on a friend`s car. i fave the following: the module: 2K0 929 475 (0004) 100 919 475 H03, all the wiring and sensors with a plug, a buzzer ( no wires) and a plug (T16e) for the first connector on the module. the plug had the wires in places that you mentioned in your posts but are cut out. the wires are connected in the plug as follows: 1, 2, 6, 8, 10, 15. i have connected pin 1 to power (at ignition on), pin 8 to ground. 2 and 10 to buzzer. the two wires from can high and can low i connected to can main connector of CAN on the right side of dashboard. unfortunately i had no pins so i connected to some existing wires after slicing and soldering. for the CAN wires i have used some thin (not too thin), untwisted wire.
after all the connections, the car would not start, not even the dashboard lights. after removing plug from parktronic module, everything was OK. can you tell me what i have done wrong? do you have a pinout for the module above?
1. do i have to use pins for CAN connection? i have seen that all CAN HIGH are connected together and all CAN LOW are also connected together. i tought that it would not matter if it`s connected to a pin or if i connect and solder to a wire.
2. is really important that i use twisted wires? should i and can i use a pair from an UTP wire?
please reply.
wishing you all the best,
madalin
