Tracking my new S3 from Bremerhaven to SA

Ok received some information today from my dealer regarding my vehicle. At fist I got a build week to be week 48. During early December 2013, I was informed that the building process was completed and that my car will be going to Bremerhaven port.
Received details today that the vehicle is in Port at Bremerhaven and that the vehicle will be shipped to Port Elizabeth. I have also received the Vin Nr and Engine number of my car.

Ok this may seem a bit excessive but what the hell. I found a bit of information on another forum then took it a bit further. So you want to know where your new S3 is.

I have confirmed that the port they leave from is Bremerhaven if you know different then use the port of your choice. Now in order to be accurate you will at least need the dealer to tell you when your car hits the boat.

So go here ( http://schedule.2wglobal.com/AppSche...countryList.do ) and choose Germany as your Origin country and South Africa as your Destination Country.

It will then list Ports.

Use Bremerhaven as your departure port and where ever your car is going as the end port.

It will now show you a list of departure and arrival dates for different ships. You should be able to pick yours out by the date the dealer gave you.

OK now you have your ship name. On to the stalker type tracking.
Go to: ( http://www.sailwx.info/shiptrack/shiplocations.phtml )
scroll to the bottom of the page and enter your ship name into the "Search for ship by name" box and search..

It will now show you the last point it was tracked. Click on it and it will take you to a map. Now you can enter the number of hours you want the system to show you as far as tracking the ship goes.

There you have it. You can now watch your ship cross the ocean and see the ports it's going to. Trust me much easier to do than to type

Now if your really serious and you want to read about the ship your car is on and take a look at it, go here and use the car carier buttons on the left to find your ship and take a look.

Hope this helps other anxious people like me stalk their new car from afar.

The ship I am tracking is here at the moment http://www.marinetraffic.com/en/ais/home/centerx:-8.835505/centery:45.10723/zoom... and needs to be at Port around 20 December 2013 to leave on 23 December 2013 for Port Elizabeth. Expected 2014-01-16 in Port Elizabeth.

Dan zou ik ze kunnen tegenkomen, op de reis van Bremerhaven naar Zeebrugge,
Wij beloodsen ook de schepen voor de Belgische havens ; Antwerpen, Gent en Zeebrugge.
Als ik ze zie, zal ik het laten weten.

Netjes - bedankt seg maar tegen die skipper dat hy ff harder aan moet doen, het gaat almal so langzaam. lol
