Zo deze onderdelen zijn binnen nu wachten we even op de kabelboom en dan maar eens kijken hoe we het koelwater gaan doen.
Ik heb wel begrepen dat de klep achter de motor die de flow van het warme water stuurt stussen de motor en de kachelradiateur weg gaat en daar komt de nieuwe voor in de plaats zodat het nu handmatig in te stellen is via het MMI.
De klep onder de slang met het audi logo bedoel ik.

De n279 houder zou voor een A5 2.0 TDI 2013 de verkeerde zijn. Maar ik weet natuurlijk niks van een genoemde A4...

Peter bedankt voor je info.
Dat ik de kabel moet oplengen wist ik maar dat van de gateway niet. Bij de A4 zit het electrisch redelijk op de zelfde plaats ook rechts achterin.
En de speciale tang kan ik ook lenen dus dat is ook het probleem niet.
De beugel bij de N279 klep is voor een Q5 even kjken of ik hem pas krijg en anders een nieuwe bij de dealer.
De A4 heeft ook een 3zone systeem.
Mijn ervaring van een vw kachel is dat de coderingen van een diesel of benzine kachel bij 4cilinders niet verschilt dus ik gaat je topic nog eens afspeuren en kijken wat jou code doet.

Ik heb vanavond de kachel even op spanning gezet met diesel leiding eraan. 12volt op de kachel met bruin en rood. Dikke 2 polige stekker. Geen enkele beweging in de kachel te krijgen. Ik meet ook verder geen spanning op de stekker van de waterpomp. Kan ik er dan vanuit gaan dat deze defect is?

Je kachel moet worden vrij gegeven via de canbus. Anders heb je geen aansturing en gaat hij het inderdaad niet doen. De puls van de afstandsbediening zet de kachel namelijk niet aan maar geeft door aan het mmi ga is wat doen.

De auto heel dichtbij zetten en op de canbus aansluiten of een eberspacher / webasto diagnose set aansluiten. En die hebben ze bij een standtandkachel inbouwer wel.

Is het algelukt met de kachel testen.
De kachel heeft een aantal voorwaarden op te gaan branden, zoals brandstof niveau van de tank, accu spanning en koelwater temperatuur en toerental van de motor.
Ik heb ook gelezen dat voor sommige Audi kachels een component lock aanwezig is om diefstal te voorkomen, en deze kan alleen verwijdert worden door de dealer. Weet niet of dat dit voor de A4 ook zo is.
Wij hebben de koelwater slangen binnen en deze zijn als nieuw, de route van de slangen en de werking van de N279 klep is ook veel duidelijker.
Zal van de week even een foto plaatsen van het koelsysteem op de werk bank.

Ik heb nog wat informatie opgevraagd hier en daar en nu blijkt dat de klep vaak niet eens geplaatst wordt. Dit maakt het aansluiten volgens mij ook nog wat makkelijker.

Ik zou de klep zeker doen. Mijn kachel blaast echt binnen 2 minuten warme lucht het interieur in. Of wacht je liever tot je hele koelwatercircuit warm is? :-)

Klep is echt GEEN extra werk.

Ik heb zelf totaal nog niks bekeken, puur van wat ik gehoord heb

Ik zelf heb deze klep niet in mijn passat maar dat heeft minimaal invloed op het verwarmen van het interieur, er word altijd warme luch het interieur in geblazen omdat de water uitstroom direct naar de warmte wisselaar gaat. De rest warmte die uit de warmte wisselaar komt verwamt de motor.
De motor koelt het water wel extra af maar denk zelf dat het verschil al in 2 minuten weg is, ik heb namelijk zelf ook direct warme lucht.

In de kufatec kabel zit de stekker al voor die klep, en het zijn 2 stukjes slang en een T stuk extra.
Dat kleine beetje extra werk maakt ook niet meer uit op dit project.

At first thank you so much about this forum conversation. It seems that I understand something about your language with my english and german skils. But finally
I have been reading your conversation with Google Translator I have been looking for little info bits all around the internet for hours. But luckily I finally got on this page.

I am going to do this same project on my 2010 A4 Avant Quattro 2.0 TFSI. Winter is coming on quickly and I am still hesitating with the electric connections. I have not had courage to start ordering the parts until I have a good understanding about the little pins on the Kufatec wiring.

I asked the connecting details from Kufatec but the answer was really rude. I also looked the Kufatec wiring photo and thought that it looks too short for original type installation from heater (bumber) to the trunk where the remote control box will be. And your text confirmed that I will need to extend the Kufatec wiring. But that is allmost the easiest part of this project.

Could you please tell me couple of things about this project
-Please see the below picture about the connectors on the wiring. At the moment I know the purpose only for some connectors.

-Another big problem is the connection from the original car antenna (shark fin) to the remote control box. Did you have antenna cable already on the car? Or is the Kufatecs smaller wiring this cable? I have also heard that Kufatecs wiring doesn't use the original car antenna but it will use that smaller wiring as a wire-antenna. Any good knowledge about this?

Comment #17 explains many of the wires (when I can measure which cable is which on the connector, because you cannot see this from the picture).

It seems that the CAN-bus could be found some where near the glove box. Could you give me more precise location? Or maybe a photo?

Do you mean that the remote control box is on the other side of the car than the rear fuse box. I have understood that both the fuses and the remote box are on the right side of the car.

Yes the remote controle box is an the left side of the trunk. Above the navi computer.

On a A4 B8? And are we talking about the same left and right? When car is going forward and driver looks left. That left?
Because ETKA and internet work shop manuals says that the remote control box is on the right. Please see the below link (it is for A5 but I think they are same enough).

But which side ever that box will be, I think that now I have enough info for this project to start ordering parts. Thank you for your help.
