Het grote A4 B8? Topic!

Dat is duidelijk de 3.2FSI automaat die in zijn stationair begrenser gaat tussen de 3700 a 4000RPM. klinkt bijna het zelfde als die van mij, alleen minder agressief, gelukkig wel een stuk agressiever dan de B7 sedan.

Ich finde diese Fotomontagen immer wieder lustig. So wie sie die Auto Bild verwendet finde ich es aber nicht vertretbar.

Da ich für Audi arbeite, hatte ich schon vor längerer Zeit den neuen Audi A4 Avant auf Mallorca zu bewundern. Ein sehr gelungenes Fahrzeug. Nun auf der A4 Limousinen Weltpräsentation in München hat sich dieser Eindruck nochmals bestätigt und gefestigt.

Der Avant wird sicherlich einschlagen. Das Heck sieht definitiv viel sportlicher aus als auf Allen hier abgebildeten Fotomontagen. Nur fällt es wirklich sehr schräg ab, noch ein bisschen extremer als beim A6 Avant. Die Heckleuchten beinhalten keine LED Technik.

Das LED Tagfahrlicht gibt es nur in Verbindung mit Xenon Scheinwerfern. Ich hatte das Vergnügen den Avant in eissilbermetallc mit mustangbraunem Leder zu sehen. Eine absolut stimmige und dennoch außergewöhnliche Kombination.

Bei den Vergleichsfahrten in München, hatte ich die Möglichkeit den neuen Audi A4 im Vergleich zum 3er BMW und der Mercedes C-Klasse zu testen.

Der A4 ist , ohne mich aus den Fenster lehnen zu wollen, das eindeutig sportlichste Fahrzeug. Positiv überrascht hat mich die neue C-Klasse die in meinen Augen sehr harmonisch und gelungen ist, jedoch eher den Komfortbetonten Fahrer ansprechen wird.

op de belgische Audi site (www.audi.be) kan je sinds vandaag de nieuwe A4 samen stellen!
Opvallend is dat er geen keuzes voor ambiente, ambition enzo uitvoeringen zijn... net alsof er in België geen gebruik van gemaakt zal worden.

ik kom vlotjes aan de 38.000 euro... voor een dik aangeklede 2.0 TDI met leder interieur, lifestyle plus pakket (gps enzo...), xenon adaptive met LED-dingen, enz. enz...

Af en toe heb ik niet zoveel tijd om alles door te spitten :P en kijk alleen ff naar bekijk je berichten.

nog een inside bron met info over de nieuwe S4 met dus waarschijnlijk een nieuwe blok, de 3.0TFSI die er 330PK uit perst. Heel leuk blokje om te tunen dus!

We have confirmed with inside sources that the B8 S4 will debut with a brand new 3.0-liter TFSI bi-turbo producing 330-hp. With this powerplant Audi can nearly match the B7's 340-hp output while providing even better performance figures. Manufacturer published (conservative) 0-60mph drops from 5.4 seconds to very low 5's, while the accompanying combined fuel economy rises from 17 mpg to over 20 mpg.

More importantly, at least from the enthusiast point of view, a return to bi-turbos means that modifying the B8 S4 to enhance its stock performance capabilities will be a more historically straightforward (and less expensive) endeavor. And lest we forget the all important marketing perspective, the 3.0-liter bi-turbo will also best a similar offering in BMW's 335i which weighs in at only 300-hp.

Delivering power to the ground reveals the other technological breakthrough which will debut on the new S4. It is given that it will employ Audi's revered quattro all-wheel drive, however it will not be just the active sport differential system which is centered around distribution of torque on the rear axle.

The B8 S4 will instead mark the debut of Audi's vectoring quattro system which will allow the dynamic allocation of torque to all four wheels. Audi's already improved driving dynamics thanks to its recent rearward bias will improve even further as the S4 gets the most neutral driving characteristics ever found in a performance sedan.

Timing remains a wildcard for the B8 S4. It is slated to go on sale in the States alongside the B8 A4 in fall 2008, meaning it will have to debut early next year. We put our money on a Big Apple debut at the New York Auto Show in April. In the mean time we have put together two brand new renders of the B8 S4 to help enthusiasts pass the time waiting.

Is it true that the architecture of the new A4 is already designed to accommodate a hybrid derivative?
At the Frankfurt auto show, we presented the VW/Audi modular longitudinal architecture (MLB). This allows hybrid technology to be used on all our cars with a longitudinal engine — A4, A6, A8 and Q5 [the forthcoming smaller SUV]. There will be a hybrid A4 in 2.5-3 years.
And there will also be a hybrid design for transverse-engine cars?
This was presented on the Volkswagen stand in Frankfurt. The hybrid technology will be combined with the Group's dual-clutch gearbox. These hybrids will be able to run solely on electric power for a short period of time"
